The day dawned overcast, and remained so all day.
At some times the ship
had to blast the horn regularly due to surface fog on the water. It rained for
a while too.

Our Scenic Tour Director, Laurel, organised for the group to dine together for
lunch – it was very pleasant but a few didn’t show. As lunch was about to
finish we all watched three dolphins surfing the bow wave and trying to keep up
with the ship. Was great to watch them – so athletic!
We two (and many others we suspect!) had a snooze in the afternoon. It
was nice to just laze around. At 4.30pm we went to trivia with a few others
from the group. Our team got 10/20, so didn’t do all that brilliantly!
It is formal night tonight at the main restaurants so we dressed up a
bit and joined another couple for dinner. Perhaps tomorrow we’ll do buffet only
so that we eat a little less. We have been over-eating a bit!
Tonight clocks go back an hour. That’ll be good because we have an early
start tomorrow for our shore excursion.
